He first burst onto the scene in 2008, winning his debut event — the Hooters Australia Ultimate Chicken Wing Eating Championship — before going on to compete in and oversee dozens of high-speed eating contests around Australia. Under his leadership, Competitive Eaters Australia has hosted iconic events like the Luna Park Hot Dog Eating Championship and ranked Australia’s top eaters through its national leaderboard.

With years of experience promoting and managing extreme eating contests, Billy is passionate about growing the sport while keeping competitors safe and informed. He continues to champion the thrill, spectacle, and camaraderie of competitive eating — one mouthful at a time.
